The Jalan Besar Swimming Complex opened to the public on June 1, 2003 and is located at 100 Tyrwhitt Road #01-03. The swimming complex consists of three pools—a competition pool, a teaching pool, and a wading pool. In addition to the three pools, the Jalan Besar Swimming Complex offers seating for up to 86 people.

Both children and adults may participate in Swim classes and lessons at the Jalan Besar Swimming Complex.

The Jalan Besar Swimming Complex also offers parking facilities which can hold up to 400 cars and 30 motorcycles. The parking facilities also include 3 handicapped spots.
